The exploration and development of challenging reservoirs is now standard practice for Oil and Gas Operating Companies worldwide. Consequently, economic drivers to maximize the potential of unconventional plays have spurred significant advances in extended reach drilling.

Specialized completions and intervention materials and techniques continue to support the safe production from highly corrosive sour fields, historically beyond the limits.

Applying these advanced methods to redevelop mature fields has also proven to be a cost-effective strategy, enhancing oil recovery to levels previously unattainable. Meeting the long-term life cycle requirements of these challenging wells relies heavily on innovation, research and development in the area of well intervention.

The event will aim to provide an open forum for attendees to share the latest advancements in technology and discuss relevant case studies that will help expand the barrier of extended reach intervention to meet current and future needs.
